I post here a digital copy of a section of a newspaper, The Newcastle Courant, from Saturday 4th, January 1751---tho’ reporting news from Tuesday 21st, 1750.---As your perusal will show, upon that day Rome was persecuting Anti Papists, and Sweden sworn in King Adolf Fredrik, the first King from the house of Holstein-Gottorp.
